	Animal Registration	Any dog or cat four months of age or older must be registered with Animal Control. No dog or cat can be registered until it has a current rabies vaccination. The registration fee is $5.00 unless the dog or cat being registered has been spayed or neutered, in which case the fee is $3.00. This can be done by mail or in person at the Addison Service Center, 16801 Westgrove, 972-450-2871. If mailing, include a check and a copy of the latest proof of vaccination. In person, please provide a check and proof of vaccination.
	Animal shelter	The Town of Addison does not have an Animal Shelter. Persons desiring to adopt a dog or cat can go to the Internet and research for Rehab/Rescue for the breed specific or contact one of the larger neighboring communities.
	Animal Trap Request	Animal Control will lend trap to catch a cat, opossum, raccoon, skunk or other small animal that is on your property.
	Barking dogs	Addison has an Ordinance that prohibits a person from keeping on their property an animal which howls, barks, yelps or crows or makes any other unreasonable noise for a period of more than five consecutive minutes. The Addison Police Department and Animal Control have concurrent and joint authority for enforcement of this Ordinance. If the violation occurs between 8:00 AM amd 5:00 PM Monday through Friday contact Addison Animal Control If it occurs after hours or on the week end contact the Addison Police Dept.

	I live in an apartment complex. Does Addison have a drop off center for recyclables?	No. The Town of Addison does not have a recycling drop off center but does offer recycling collection to apartment complexes. This service must be requested by apartment management as there are associated fees.
	I need a recycling bin	Public Works will deliver a recycling bin to your single family residence with instructions on what can be recycled.

	New Service/Transferring Service	New residents and businesses are required to complete a Water Service Application form to obtain utility services. You may complete a Water Service Application Packet and send it to the Town. Or you may select this option to request a Representative contact you directly about setting up new water service.
	Notification of upcoming Firefighter-Paramedic Test.	Requesting notification when the next Firefighter-Paramedic test is scheduled. Request is active for 6 months.
	Open Public Records	In accordance with the Public Information Act the City of Addison makes all of its public records available to citizens. Your request should be for documents or other information that is already in existence. Governmental bodies are not required to answer questions, perform legal research, or comply with a continuing request to supply information on a periodic body as such information is prepared in the future. The City of Addison tries to respond to information requests within 10 business days. The City of Addison charges records production fees in accordance with the Texas Building and Procurement Commission Charge Schedule (111.70).
