What is the 2010 CRT/TV Collection Schedule?
Answer:
CRTs and TVs are picked-up curbside and/or dropped off on these schedule dates.
Pick-up is at 7 a.m. Drop offs are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
In 2010, there are only 2 drop off days, May 1 and Nov 13 which are also ARC Community Collection Days.

For curbside pick up you must first purchase a sticker ($15 p/unit) from the DPW at least 24 hours before the pick up date. Place the sticker on your CRT(s) and have them at your curb before 7 a.m. on scheduled pick up days. You can purchase stickers at the DPW yard at 51 Grove Street Mon-Fri from 8 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. They can also be purchased at Town Hall on Mon-Weds 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Thursday until 7 p.m. and Friday until noon. You can also mail a $15 check made out to "Town of Arlington" to: Public Works/Town Hall, 730 Mass. Ave, Arlington, MA 02476. Please allow enough time to receive the sticker in the mail (approx 6 business days). When you receive the sticker, you will be assigned a pick-up date.
Community Collection Days - Drop Off
The fee to bring an item to one of the scheduled collection days is $10 per item. You do not need to purchase a sticker beforehand, just bring them to the DPW Yard at 51 Grove Street between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the scheduled day and pay at that time.
Fees can be paid for by check or cash, no credit cards.
