Trash pickup is done on a weekly basis throughout the Town, recycling is done biweekly.

Recycling in Arlington is collected every other week on your regular trash collection day. Arlington residents are either on the triangle route or the circle route. When a scheduled collection day falls on a holiday, that day's collection and all remaining
collections for the week will be delayed one day. Friday's collection will be on Saturday.
Businesses that are on Town trash pickup must purchase orange bags for trash. Bags can be purchased at Wanamaker Hardware, Arlington Swifty Printing and at the DPW Office at 51 Grove St., second floor. The bags are $2.30 each or a roll or 10 for $23. Recycling is free.
