A pothole is a bowl-shaped failure of pavement which does not have any cracks aroung the area and a base failure is an area where the pavement has cracked or has fractures and could include potholes.

Cave-In and Sink Hole Report a cave-in or sink hole.
Curb and Gutter Report a damaged curb and gutter.
Dead Animal Report a dead animal to be picked up by Animal Care. If you are reporting your animal, the animal must be set out by the curb.
Debris in Catch Basin Report debris located in a catch basin.
Debris in Ditch Report any debris that has been dumped into a ditch.
Disconnection of Service A Call Representative will be contacting you within 2 business days to process your order.
Employee Behavior If you would like to submit a complaint or compliment on a City employee, please select this service request.
Engineering Report sidewalk problems, street construction problems, speed hump requests, street lighting request, traffic/vision obstructions, or heavy traffic problems on streets, traffic signals.
Flooding in the Business Report flooding that occurs in a business after a heavy rain.
Flooding in the Street Report flooding in a street after a heavy rain.
Garbage - Additional Cart or Exchange Obtain an additional cart or exchange the one you currently own. It will take 3-7 working days for the delivery of a cart. For an additional cart, there is a $10 delivery fee and a $10.00 monthly fee that will be added to your City utility bill.
Garbage Cart Stolen Report a stolen cart. You will need to contact the Police Department at (361) 886-2600 to report the City issued cart stolen. A case number will be provided to you and you will then need to call (361) 826-CITY (2489) and provide the case number to the call representative who will issue a work order for the replacement of the cart. If the City issued cart is not reported stolen, you will be billed $55.00 plus a $10 delivery charge. It will take anywhere from 3-7 working days for delivery of cart.
Garbage Complaint Submit a garbage complaint.
Garbage Missed Report garbage that was missed during pick up.
Graffiti If you would like to report graffiti please select this service request.
Grass Clippings Report grass clippings that have been blown into the street.
Health Report dumpster problems, restaurant problems, bees, mosquitoes, and health inspections.
High Consumption Complaint and Reread Request a meter reread and report high consumption. Please call the Customer Call Center at 826-2489 in 5 to 6 business days for the results.
High Grass Report high grass that is a nuisance or causes a vision obstruction.
High Weeds on Vacant Lots Report high weeds on a vacant lot.
Illegal Dumping Report illegal dumping occurring in a storm water drain.
Injured Animals Report an injured animal.
Investigations Report possible abused or neglected animals.
Junked Motor Vehicles Report junked motor vehicles.
Light Up - Adjust Appliance Request for a gas appliance to be lit. There is a service fee for the light up. Someone will be contacting you to confirm this request.
Loose Dogs Report an owner who allows their dogs to run loose.
Main Break and Flooding Report a water main break and flooding.
Manhole Missing and/or Shifted Report a manhole that is missing or has shifted.
Meter Leak Report a meter leak.
Mud on the Street Report mud dumped on a street by City crews, landscaping business, or private contractor.
Municipal Court Report any code violations, barking dog complaints or other requests.
Neighborhood Services For information on housing programs or community development block grants.
New Services A Call Representative will be contacting you within 1 business day to setup your account.
Odor/Taste/Dirty Water Report water that has an odor, unfamiliar taste or is dirty.
One Way Signs Report any One Way signs that are down or missing. One Way signs missing and/or down are considered an emergency and must be called in to the Streets Sign Shop at 289-0631 as soon as possible.
Overflow at the Cleanout Report an overflow from a cleanout.
Park and Recreation Request any golf, marina, park, programs, recreation, senior programs or beach cleaning services.
Pavement Deterioration Report any pavement that is deteriorated.
Planning and Zoning Issue If you would like to report a planning and zoning issue please select this service request.
Police Report any drug activity, graffiti, noise, request increased police patrol, taxicabs, towing/impound problems or police service problems.

Premise Code Violations on Occupied Properties Report occupied properties with code violations. (i.e. high weeds, substandard structures, trash/debris)

Private Premise Vendor's Permit To obtain a Vendor's permit, fill out this form. Someone will contact you to process your request.
Right-of-Way Obstructions Report right-of-way obstructions. (i.e. junk vehicles, detached trailers, RV campers)
Signs Missing or Down Use this report to any signs that are down or missing.
Slow Drainage Report slow drainage in an area.
Spill Report a spill.
Standing Water due to Wastewater Report standing water in your home or business.
Standing Water from Rain Report standing water in an area due to rain.
Stray Dogs Contained in Your Yard Report stray dogs that you have contained in your yard.
Stray/Roaming Dogs Report stray and/or roaming dogs that need to be picked up by Animal Care.
Street Name Signs Missing/Down Report street name signs that are down or missing.

Turn On After Repairs Request for gas to be turned on after repairs have been completed. Someone will be contacting you to confirm this request.
Vacant Lot and Structure Violations Report violations on vacant lots and structures. (i.e. illegal dumping, trash/debris, high weeds)
Vehicles Parked on Lawns This is only a violation if the license tags and inspections are expired.
Wildlife Report wildlife to be picked up by Animal Care.
Winter Average Inquiry Applies to single family residential customers ONLY. A Call Representative will be contacting you within 3 to 5 business days to discuss your concern.
