Do I need a permit to host a garage sale?

Yes.  You are allowed to have 3 sales per calendar year on Thursday through Sunday.  No fee.  Permits may be picked up at City Hall, or you can get a permit through this request system.  If you go to the "Make A Request" link in the citizen action center, there is a link called "Garage Sale Permit."  You can create an account with us, or if you do not want an account, hit "Submit Anonymously."  Please fill out all the required fields, including providing your e-mail address so we can send confirmation of the permit.  For more info call 630-353-8101.
